There's a particular energy when a horror crowd gets a room to itself, and Saturday night at Sidecar Bar in Nashville had all of it — a red carpet, a step-and-repeat, and 80 filmmakers, creators, and fans toasting a question most studios are too slow to ask: what does horror look like when it's built for the way we actually watch?
Screamify's answer is MICRO HORRORS™ — original, self-contained scares in 1-to-3-minute vertical episodes. The launch slate: AUTONOMOUS (a driverless rideshare with its own agenda, directed by Kyle Valle and starring Erin Áine — who also produces — and Domenic Jungling), GAME NIGHT: SURVIVE THE SLASHER (party games turn lethal — Trent Duncan directs a cast led by Erin Taylor, Aubrey Nicole Plummer, Morgan Flanagan, Cheyenne Autumn Hess, and Connor Sherman), and SCARY MARY, a fresh spin on the mirror legend generations of sleepovers were built on — a story that has always belonged to girls daring each other toward the dark.

"That's the community these stories come from, and it's who they're made for," a Screamify representative said of the room.
The format's bite-sized, but the ambition isn't. New episodes land weekly on the Screamify app and screamify.com.
